Waits and returns
«Waits and Returns» is a celebrated painting cycle by the Rimini artist and sociologist, centred on the ideas of becoming, of travel and of human transience. The “non-places” depict transit spaces such as railway stations and airports. They recall the anthropologist Marc Augé's theory of places without a fixed historical or relational identity, where people shed their everyday selves.
The canvases are dominated by soft shades of violet and magenta — colours the critics have described as almost prophetic, ideally suited to conveying the suspended dimension of waiting.

I devote to angels a profound spiritual and material research. Not mere religious subjects, but bridges between the human and the divine. My «Angel Woman», inspired by the Stilnovo poets, unites feminine grace with the strength of refractory clay. I leave the clay raw and matt to tell the weight of the human condition, from which the purity of the spirit emerges through high-relief wings and touches of white and lilac light.
